Heavy rains and flooding in the Chicago area brought havoc to the morning commute on April 18, shutting major expressways, delaying commuter trains for hours, cancelling flights and closing dozens of suburban schools. A massive sinkhole opened up a residential street on Chicago's South Side and swallowed three parked cars.
